From July 4 to 10, 2025, the Asian Youth & Junior Weightlifting Championships will be held in Astana, Kazakhstan. This prestigious competition will gather the most talented young weightlifters from across Asia.

The issues discussed at the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) congress in Manama in December 2024 will be reviewed. Additionally, the hosts of future continental competitions for 2025 and beyond will be considered.
Currently, the AWF has started accepting applications for the Asian Youth & Junior Championship to be held in Kazakhstan, and the preliminary start list will be announced one month before the competition, on June 4.
