11th March 2020, Regarding to the outbreak of the covid-19, the virus is spreading throughout the world, also it has effected many major international sports events. Moreover, the NOC Uzbekistan and Uzbekistan Weightlifting Federation informed that they not be able to host the 2020 Asian Championships in April due to the unstable situation and want to postpone the championships to other period. The update championships information will be informed after we received the decision of IWF and IOC regarding to the covid-19 and the Qualification System in the IWF Executive Board Meeting, being held during 17th – 18th March 2020 at Lausanne, Switzerland.
