April 28th, 2019 Asian Championships was ended on 28th April and there are 97 lifters from 20 countries for Women and 117 lifters, 25 countries for Men. It was grateful to know that our Asian Lifters have been shown great performance and broken many World and Asian Records as follows:
Women
- New World Records: 18 times (13 Senior, 1 Junior and 4 Youth) in 49kg, 55kg, 59kg, 64kg, 76kg and +87kg
- New Asian Records: 19 times (13 Senior, 1 Junior and 5 Youth) in 49kg, 55kg, 59kg, 64kg, 76kg and +87kg
Men
- New World Records: 24 times (6 Senior, 14 Junior and 4 Youth) in 67kg, 73kg, 109kg, +109kg
- New Asian Records: 27 times (6 Senior, 17 Junior and 4 Youth) in 67kg, 73kg, 109kg, +109kg
In the closing ceremony, Mr. ZHOU Jinqiang, President of Chinese Weightlifting Association and Madam XU Ya’nan, Vice Mayor of Ningbo Municipal Government had a speech to thank you for all participants who come together in this big games, hope they will come back to home safety and smoothly. In this occasion, let’s celebrate for the best team in 2019 Asian Championships. It is nothing to compare with China team which has shown the best performance and broken many World and Asian records. Best female athlete belonged to DENG Wei (CHN) who broke New World and Asian Records in Snatch, C&J and Total for Women’s 64kg. Moreover, SHI Zhiyong (CHN) is the best male athlete when he set New World and Asian Records in Snatch and Total for Men’s 73kg. In addition, there are more the best teams as follows:
