It was a special occasion in Ashgabat when there was Awarding Ceremony for three lifters with Olympic Medals from 2012 London and 2016 Rio. The Medals were reallocated due to disqualifications and it would be honored that Daniel Gyurta, IOC Member, and Dr. Tamás Aján, IWF President presented the medals to the athletes.
GULNOI Siripuch (THA), who competed under the name of GULNOI Rattikan at the time, received the Bronze Medal in Women’s 58kg bodyweight category in 2012 London. Also, MOHAMMADPOURKARKARAGH Saeid (IRI) was awarded for Gold Medal, 2012 London, in Men’s 94kg bodyweight category. In addition, ULANOV Denis (KAZ) claimed for Bronze Medal in Men’s 85kg for his performance in Rio 2016.
