Mr.Mohamed Yousef Al Mana, AWF President and QWF President, is honored to be the host of the Qatar 5th International Cup. This competition is Qualification Competition for Tokyo 2020, Silver Level, has been held during 19th -23th December 2018 at Doha, Qatar. In the men’s 96kg category, It is amazing that Fares Ibrahim Hassouna, Qatar Star, made New Junior World Record in Clean & Jerk 225kg and Total 397kg, also China’s Ting Huang established a new junior world record by lifting a total of 232kg in the women’s 64kg class.
There are so many as 130 athletes from 35 countries are taking part in the competition. During this Event it also has Coaching Seminar by Mr. Ibrahim Hassouna, Qatar Coach, to brief and exchange experiences with each other and it is one of the great competition in the region.
