On the second day of the competition, it would be honored that His Excellency Mr. Joko Widodo, President of the Republic of Indonesia, came to cheer and awarded lifters in the Men Category 62kg medal ceremony. There are two gold medals for Indonesia and Philippines. This day started with Men Category 62kg and the first gold belonged to the host lifter, Irawan Eko Yuli (INA). Trinh Van Vinh (VIE) won silver and Ergashev Adkhamjon (UZB) won bronze medals.
In Women Category 53kg, the Minister, Turkmenistan Ministry of Sports and Youth Policy, AWF Honorary President came to be the honor guests in the medal ceremony. There are lifters from Philippines and Turkmenistan competed for the gold medal, the result showed that Hidilyn Diaz (PHI) won gold finally, Kristina Shermetova (TKM) won silver and the bronze is for the junior lifer form Thailand, Surodchana Khambao.
