Thai Amateur Weightlifting Association(TAWA) has organized a coaching seminar at Town in Town Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand between 11 – 13 March 2018 with the title “Coaching Seminar 2018 New Rule and Regulations” Which has been supported by Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT) and Asian Weightlifting Federation (AWF). Thai Amateur Weightlifting Association(TAWA) has organized a coaching seminar at Town in Town Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand between 11 – 13 March 2018 with the title “Coaching Seminar 2018 New Rule and Regulations” Which has been supported by Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT) and Asian Weightlifting Federation (AWF).
Mrs. Boossaba Yodbangtoey, AWF General Secretary and TAWA President, opened the seminar on 11 March 2018. The coaches who attended in the seminar gained the knowledge and updated new IWF rule and regulation of weightlifting as well as new practices from the expert lecturers. The details are as follows:
- Weightlifting in Chinese Style by Mr. Liu Ning National coach of Thailand
- Weightlifting in Bulgarian Style by Mr. Ivan Ganchev National coach of Thailand
- Injury and Recovery for Weightlifter Taping Workshop by Mr. Suwit Ariyachaikul, Physical Therapist of National team Thailand.
- New Competition Rules and Regulations by Mr.Niwat Limsuknirun , AWF Director General and Technical Committee and Mr. Myint Swe, AWF Executive board.
- The Importance of Second Pull for Weightlifting by Mr. Yeom Dongchul National coach of Korea and Maj. Dr. Aphinya Dattuyawat : IWF certified Lecturer.
- Workshop and Activity Training Program for second pull by Mr. Yeom Dongchul National coach of Korea and Maj. Dr. Aphinya Dattuyawat : IWF certified Lecturer.
- Anti doping guide for coach by Dr.Meechai Inwood; Director Doping Control Agency of Thailand.
- Share & Learn in Coaching Experience by Mr.Sakchai Titajaree, Director of Chonburi Sports School and Experienced Coach.
This seminar gave coaches more knowledge and understanding of the new rules and regulations. They also know new ways of performing their duties with perfectly procedure. The Seminar has now been completed with 41 participants attending particular coaching program.
