22nd August 2019, it has only one month left for the 2019 IWF World Championships, Pattaya, THAILAND. This will the biggest moment for every lifters as the last World Championships before the 2020 Tokyo Games, everyone will keep an eye on this event, including medias from around the world.
With great support from IWF and Thai Royal Government, Thai Amateur Weightlifting Association (TAWA) held the internal meeting on 19th August, Maj. Gen. Intarat Yodbangtoey, 1st Vice President and TAWA Honorary President, was a chairman to emphasize and follow up the important topics according to the event. Moreover, TAWA has continued to organize the Meeting with Pattaya City to prepare the championships on 22nd September at Pattaya City Hall. Furthermore, all parties came to discuss together, to find the best way of organization. In this occasion, Mr. Ronnakit Ekasingh, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya City, informed that he is pleased to welcome all participants to this beautiful city and this is such a good opportunity for Thailand to be the host of this great championships.
In addition, ACM. Jirasak Phuvanartnurak, Organizing Committee Chairman and TAWA Vice President, announced that TAWA is ready to be the host of 2019 IWF World Championships. “This championships will be the History of World Weightlifting Championships because there will be more than 1,000 participants in this September. We have experiences to organize many weightlifting events, so I am confidence that the venue, accommodation and facilities will be satisfied all participants with high standard for the international competition.”
