M 81kg Weightlifters Shine Bright, Setting New Standards at Asian Games

The weightlifting event at the 2022 Asian Games continued its captivating run on 4th October 2023. Today, the spotlight was solely on the M 81kg category, and the athletes did not disappoint, delivering performances that kept spectators on the edge of their seats.

In the M 81kg category, RI Chongsong from DPR Korea showcased an exceptional blend of skill and strength, clinching the gold medal with a total of 364kg. TOSHTEMIROV Mukhammadkodir from Uzbekistan, with his commendable performance, secured the silver medal with a total of 351kg. The bronze medal was claimed by UVAROV Alexandr from Kazakhstan, who lifted a total of 348kg, highlighting the close competition in this category.

The fifth day of weightlifting at the Asian Games was a testament to the high level of competition and the sheer determination of the athletes. Their performances have set a high benchmark, and the world is eagerly watching as these weightlifters continue to push their limits.
