AWF Electoral Congress 2026: Nominations Received for Elections in Doha

The Asian Weightlifting Federation (AWF) has compiled the nominations received for the elections at its Electoral Congress, which will take place on 13 December 2026 in Doha, Qatar.

The AWF Secretariat circulated the official candidature forms to all AWF Member Federations and Associations on 25 August 2026. The submission deadline was 25 October 2026 at 23:00 Riyadh local time.

The nominations report, dated 26 October 2026, records 132 nomination entries across eight categories, covering leadership positions and membership of the AWF committees.
