The Asian Weightlifting Federation (AWF) is pleased to announce that Mr. Eshaq Ebrahim Eshaq, a member of the AWF Executive Board and President of the Bahrain Weightlifting Federation, has been elected to the Executive board of the National Olympic Committee of Bahrain. The election occurred during the NOC’s Annual General Meeting in Manama, Bahrain, where Mr. Eshaq was elected by acclamation, reflecting the high regard he holds in the sporting community.
In response to his election, Mr. Eshaq stated: “I am deeply honored and grateful for the trust placed in me by the National federations. This position is a meaningful responsibility, and I am dedicated to supporting the progress and visibility of sports universally. Collaborating with esteemed colleagues, I look forward to contributing to the enhancement of athletic endeavors, not only in Bahrain but also in the wider international community.”
