Tashkent is ready for 2020 Asian Youth & Junior Championships!

14th February 2020, Welcome to Tashkent, Uzbekistan, the city of culture, also we know that it is one of the best place for weightlifting event in our Asian Continent. The 2020 Asian Youth & Junior Championships has been held from 13th to 19th February 2020 and this is a good opportunity for our young generation to develop their careers in this sport. In addition, there are 20 countries have participated in this event.

The first event started with Youth Women 40kg and HSIAO Wei-Chen (TPE) won the first Gold of this championships, then NGUYEN Thi Thu Hoai (VIE) also won the Gold for Youth Women 45kg. HIGA Sei (JPN) took the first place in Women 49kg and ABDULLAEVA Nigora (UZB) for Women 55kg. In the last event, AHER Mukund (IND) won 1kg over host lifter for the Gold medal in Youth Men 49kg.

For the Junior categories, NGUYEN Thi Thu Hoai (VIE) won the Gold Medal in Women 45kg. AISAH Windy Cantika (INA), Youth World Record holder, shown her great performance and won in Women 49kg category without questions. Lastly, NGUYEN Thi Thuy Tien (VIE) have 2kg over KLARISA Juliana (INA) for the Gold Medal in Women 55kg. This was all for today and hope to see more for tomorrow!!
