April 27th, time fly and we are near to the end of the biggest Asian weightlifting competition tomorrow. There are three big events for today, so let’s begin with Women’s 81kg. In this bodyweight category, MESHTKHANOVA Raushan (KAZ) is the winner in Snatch – 98kg while KANG Yeounhee (KOR) lifted 97kg. She tried to be the first with 101kg, but she missed in the last attempt. In addition, we would like to congratulate for the first Mongolian medalist, MUNKHJANTSAN Ankhteetseg (MGL), who lifted 93kg for the bronze medal. In Clean & Jerk, KANG started at 123kg to make sure for the gold medal and succeed. She also challenged in the second and again in the third (130kg) to break new World and Asian Record, but, she still missed. TOYCHYYEVA Aysoltan (TKM) won the silver with 114kg, 1kg more than Mongolian lifter. Unfortunately, MESHTKHANOVA injured in the second attempts, 110kg, so she did not receive any medals. The Total Results are KANG Yeounhee – 220kg, MUNKHJANTSAN Ankhteetseg – 206kg and MESHTKHANOVA Raushan – 205kg.
In Men’s 109kg bodyweight, we have 12 lifters to compete in this competition. YANG Zhe (CHN), Asian Record Holder 196kg, took two gold medals with Snatch 192kg and Total 417kg. We have to praise DJURAEV Akbar (UZB), 19 years old, who did a great job while he set many new Junior Asian Records. He has been 3 times in Snatch (176kg, 181kg,185kg), Clean & Jerk (215kg, 219kg, 225 kg) and Total (400kg, 404 kg, 410kg), so he took all silvers in this event. The third was the battle between Korean and Iranian lifters and JEONG Kisam (KOR) won the bronze with 181kg, 1kg more, HAHEMI Ali (IRI) 180kg in Snatch. For Clean & Jerk, HAHEMI, failed in the first, came back with 225kg for the first, followed by DJURAEV and YANG, 225kg. This was amazing when three lifters lifted in the same weight. As a result, the Total winner belonged to YANG Zhe, 417kg, DJURAEV Akbar 410kg won the silver, and HAHEMI Ali (IRI), 405kg for bronze.
We were back to Women’s 87kg bodyweight categories, WANG Zhouyu (CHN) won the gold medal, 125kg, in Snatch and KOBELEVA Larisa (KAZ), 115kg and KIM Un Ju (PRK) 114kg. AO Hui (CHN) could lift in the first attempt but miss two times, so the third turned to KIM. WANG continued her best performances, 155kg and 280kg, for gold in Clean & Jerk and Total. AO Hui, missed in Snatch, keep on compete to be the second, 152kg, and KIM Un Ju 152kg, following. KIM also took the silver, 266kg and AO Hui finished in the third place with 262lg in Total.
