2019 Asian Youth & Junior Weightlifting Started!! Broken 15 Youth World Records and 19 Youth Asian records at Pyongyang, DPR. Korea

22nd October 2019 – Welcome all participants to Pyongyang, DPR Korea!!  the 2019 Asian Youth & Junior Championships has been held here during 19 – 27 October 2019 in this ancient capital city of Korea!

Let’s stared the first day with our girls in Junior 40 kg and 45kg Bodyweight Categories, also for Youth 40 kg Bodyweight. The host began with the 3 Gold medals from YONG Pak, 2 Silver and 1 Bronze for CHARIZ Macawili (PHI), and 1 Silver 2 Bronze for ZI-YU Hong (TPE).

This was so excited when we were witness of 12 times Broken World & Asian records from DPR Korea and Vietnam teams, both Countries had been shown their great performances on the stage. There are HYE Jong Paek (PRK), YU Jong Pak (PRK), and THU Trang Nguyen Thi (VIE) respectively in Junior 45 kg and the following results are 3 Gold medals from HYE Jong Paek (PRK),2 Silver medals and     1 Bronze from YU Jong Pak (PRK). Also, 1 Silver 2 Bronze medals from THU Trang Nguyen Thi (VIE), the competition was very excited and the attendances were pleased to see our lifters had been broken many records with their eyes.

Today, there are more 3 categories, beginning with Youth Men 49kg.

Again, the gold medals were belonged to DPR Korea teams, MYONG Jin Pak (PRK), with 2 times of Breaking World & Asian records. 3 Silver for KANG Song Pak (PRK) and TRUONG Nguyen Van (VIE) took the bronze at this time.

For Youth Men 55kg, the Asian record was broken 4 times and TUNG Do Tu, Vietnam team, took all the gold medals. IK Su Mun (PRK) took 3 silver medals and we have the exciting match between ABLAY Auyelkhanov (KAZ) won in C&J and Totals and WI Song Jang in Snatch for the Bronze.

Last event of the day is Men 55kg, it was the battle between the host and Vietnam. They have shown great lifts then the results are 2 Gold 1 Silver for CHUNG Guk Pak (PRK) and 1 Gold 1 Bronze for CHUNG Guk  Pak (PRK). Moreover, TUNG Do Tu (VIE) won 1 Silver and 2 Bronze for UN Chol Pang (PRK).

Congratulation for all New World Records, Asian records and all Medalist of Asia!
