The AWF delegation, engaged with EWF leadership, and discussed the future of the sport. They were particularly honored to be welcomed by Pyrros Dimas, the three-time Olympic champion and legend of our sport.

Mr. Mohammed Jalood said: “Witnessing the talent and dedication of these young athletes is truly inspiring. Their passion for weightlifting is the heart and soul of our sport’s future. It’s also crucial that they learn about the importance of fair play and integrity in sports, which are fundamental values for their development both as athletes and individuals.”

Mr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Harbi emphasized the value of international collaboration. “Being here is about more than just attending an event; it’s about building bridges and learning from each other to help our sport grow worldwide,” he shared.

The AWF congratulates the EWF on the excellent organization of the championships and extends heartfelt thanks to the EWF leadership and the Greek federation for their warm hospitality.
