1st July 2019, IWF delegates were warmly welcome by Organizing Committee for technical visit in last weekend. Regarding to 2019 IWF World Championships Mr. Attila ADAMFI, IWF Director General, and Ms. Angelique MOTTET, IWF Operations Manager, had visited Thailand during 29th June – 1st July 2019 at Bangkok and Pattaya. With more than 100 participated countries, this will be the biggest event before Tokyo 2020 and it was a good opportunity to discuss and plan together with the Organizing Committee for this coming championships.
After visit the venue and accommodation, the Organizing Committee showed that there are well – prepared for the host of this event, also they will follow the IWF guideline to make this competition reach the world standard. Lt. Gen. Phiboon Wicheanwan, TAWA Vice President and Technical Chairman, said “We are preparing everything to be the best for everyone, we are sure that the venue and accommodation will be in the line of IWF requirements.”
