Asian Weightlifting Federation (AWF), in cooperation with Bahrain Weightlifting Federation is preparing for the 2022 Asian Championships which will be held at Manama, the Kingdom of Bahrain in October. The host is pleased to welcome all athletes, coaches and officers from our Asian friends to join us together in the island of two seas. After the dateline of Final Entry on 8 September, it was pleased to know that more than 400 hundreds will come to this championships from 36 countries. This showed that most of Asian members will join in this October and it will be a good sign of Asian weightlifting development in the near future.
The Manama 2022 has been well-prepared by the host, Bahrain Weightlifting Federation, also great support by the IWF, AWF, NOC and local government. The competition will be prepared by good facilities with high standard for everyone, so we cannot wait to see you all in October. See you soon!
