According to the coaching programs which were held in Thailand and Laos, the lecturers, supported by AWF, educated Thai and Laos participants to learn and develop their skills to be a good coach. In addition, Cambodian team also sent their coaches to participate in the program which was held in Thailand, too. After the program, there are good signals that the weightlifters, both countries, participated in the EGAT International Championship during 1 – 10 May 2018 at Thung song, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand. They wanted real experiences from the competition to develop their performances.
With supports from AWF, SEWF and TAWA, Laos team, which has prior development, won the silver medals in this competition. Cambodian team also participated to gain the experiences and back to develop new athletes for their teams. Congratulations for Laos and Cambodian team developments!
