Tashkent Day 5: New World Youth Record for Kazakhstan and First Gold for Iran

18th February 2020, we came to the heavyweight categories, more attendances came to see our big guys show their powers in this snowing day. Although it was cold outside, there were hot competitions inside the venue.

In this morning, Kazakh team announced their victories at the competition venue. The Kazakh lifters, ADILETULY Nurgissa took 3 Gold Medals in Junior Men 89kg and ANTROPOV Artyom for the first place in Junior Men 96kg. MA Ching-Chieh (TPE) also won in Youth Men 96kg.

Furthermore, BEKBOLAT Rakhat (KAZ) set the new World Youth Record with 198kg – C&J for Youth Men 102kg, he also won the Gold in Junior as same category. In the last event, let’s celebrate for the first Gold of Iranian team. The Gold medal was belonged to ESFANDIARI Alireza (IRI) in Youth Men +102kg while his teammate, MOHAMMADINIASAMAKOUSH Amirreza, was in the second of this category. Tomorrow will be the last day of event, let’s wait and see what our lifters can do for the next events!
