Technical Development Program for Coaches Lifters and SSI of Bhutan

6th June 2019, Bhutan Weightlifting Federation (BWF) has been held the Technical Development Program for Coaches Lifters and SSI of Bhutan during 4th – 9th June 2019 at Thimphu, Bhutan. There are athletes (9 men, 6 women), 15 juniors, 3 coaches and 10 technical officials in this program. In addition, they also plan to organize the 1st National Weightlifting Championships for Men and Women on 8th June 2019, and this is the big first step of weightlifting development in Bhutan.

In this occasion, AWF has been sent two AWF delegates to support Bhutan Weightlifting federation in Coaching and Technical Official Seminar. This will help to update Technical Rules & Regulations according to IWF TCRR, also sharing technic in Weightlifting Training for coaches and athletes. Moreover, they also advise to prepare the 1st National Weightlifting Championships for Men and Women. This will be a good sign for Bhutan, to improve and gain more experiences to participate in coming international competition soon.
