The Anti-Doping Seminar for Thai Coach: Clean Sport for Thai Weightlifting

Thai Amateur Weightlifting Association (TAWA) organized the Anti-Doping Seminar on 14 August 2020 at Rayong, Thailand. The main purpose of seminar focused on the Anti-Doping education for Thai coaches and clean sport for weightlifting.

With great cooperation and support of Doping Control Agency of Thailand (DCAT), it was a good opportunity to receive the knowledge of Anti-Doping from the specialist. Dr. Meechai INWOOD, SEARADO Board Member and DCAT Director General, started the seminar with topic “Doping in Sport”, the coaches learned how to protect athletes and avoid the prohibited substances in & out-competition. In addition, the DCAT officers also came along with him to give advices set DCAT Booth to provide the related documents for all participants.

The TAWA Executive Board considered that the Anti-Doping matter is the main policy which needed to keep on educate to athletes and coaches. This is the best way to make Thai weightlifting as clean sport for the benefit of all. They have educated and well-prepared for the future careers.
