In the A group of the M 73kg category, Indonesia ABDULLAH Rahmat Erwin delivered a performance for the ages. He not only clinched the gold medal but also set a new world record in the Clean and Jerk with a staggering lift of 201kg. WICHUMA Weeraphon of Thailand showcased his prowess by securing the silver medal, while OH Kumthaek of DPR Korea added to the day’s excitement by bagging the bronze.

The 2023 Asian Games have truly become a stage where records are not just being matched but surpassed with each passing day. The dedication and talent of the weightlifters are evident in every lift, and the world watches in awe as these athletes redefine the boundaries of human strength.

We extend our warmest congratulations to all the medalists of the day and to every participant for their commendable efforts. As the competition continues, we eagerly await more such awe-inspiring performances.

Best of luck to all the athletes in the upcoming sessions!
