WWC Day 8: Qatar and Korea took Gold and Silver!

On the Day 8, it started with Men 96kg. In Snatch, 

Lesman Paredes Montano (COL) became new World record holder with 187kg. Boady Robert Santavy (CAN) won Silver- 178kg while Keydomar Giovanni Vallenilla Sanchez (VEN) won Bronze- 177kg. In C&J, the Qatar Star, Fares Ibrahim E.H. Elbakh, shown his great – 222kg for Gold. Finally,  Montano finished at first place with 400kg, E. H. Elbakh won Silver with 394kg and Sanchez finished the podium with 391kg.

The last event was Women 76kg.

In Snatch, Iana Sotieva (RWF) won Gold – 112kg. Silver went to Laura Nascimento Amaro (BRA) who lifted 108kg. Martha Ann Rogers (USA), finished 107kg – Bronze. In C&J, Min Ji Lee (KOR) finished first place – 139kg. Her teammate lifted 134kg for the third. The last medal went to Mattie Rogers 136kg for the second. 

Total podium was as follows: Min Ji Lee (KOR) won Gold with 244kg, Mattie Rogers (USA) placed second with 243kg and Bronze went to Iana Sotieva (RWF) with 242kg. Congrat for Qatar and Korea!
