4rd December 2019, Vietnamese lifters did great jobs in Women 59kg and 64kg for two Gold medals yesterday.

The day started with Women 59kg bodyweight category, HOANG THI DUYEN (VIE) won the gold without questions. She lifted more than the host lifter, COLONIA MARGARET, 21kg and the bronze was belonged to Indonesia lifter, ANDRIANI PUTRI.

For the Men 67kg,  DENI DENI (INA), won the Gold with 315kg and the second medalist is DINH XUAN HOANG (VIE) – 308kg.  COLONIA NESTOR (PHI) lifted 287kg for the third.

The last event of the day was Women 64kg. The Gold medal returned to Vietnam team when PHAM THI HONG THANH (VIE) took the first place with 214kg. This was very excited competition because ANDO ELREEN ANN (PHI) lifted 98kg more than Vietnamese lifter 8kg in Snatch. However, PHAM THI HONG THANH did not give up and lifted 124kg in C&J. This was more than ANDO 9kg, so PHAM was the champion with 214kg. STUDY BERNADICTA (INA) was the third place in this event.
