DIAZ Hidilyn took the gold medal for Philippines

3rd December 2019, Let’s celebrate for the gold medal of the host country, Philippines, in the last evening.

The audiences were applauding loudly at Ninoy Aquino Stadium when DIAZ Hidilyn (PHI) took the first gold in Women 55kg for the host. Diaz lifted 91kg in the Snatch and 120kg in the Clean & Jerk for a Total of 211kg, surpassing her performance in the 2018 Asian Games where she had a 207kg in Total. The second place is NGUYEN Thi Thuy (VIE) and KLARISA Juliana (INA) for the third.

In Men 61kg, IRAWAN Eko (INA) and THACH Kim Tuan (VIE) have equal results in C&J – 169kg, but IRAWAN lifted more 5kg in Snatch. As a result, IRAWAN took Gold and left Silver for THACH, the Bronze was belonged to BIDIN Muhammad Aznil Bin (MAS).
