August 24th, 2018 During the Asian Games, it was a good opportunity that Mr. Kim Il Guk, President of DPR Korea National Olympic Committee and the Minister of Ministry of Sports, came along together with Mr. Ko Chol Ho, General Secretary of DPR Korea National Olympic Committee, to meet Maj. Gen. Intarat Yodbangtoey, IWF 1st Vice President, Mr. Mohammed Jaloud, IWF General Secretary and Mrs. Boossaba Yodbangtoey, AWF General Secretary at JIExpo, Jakarta. They discussed on the topic of 2019 Asian Youth & Junior Weightlifting Championships which will be held in Pyongyang, DPR Korea. This is a good preparation for the qualification event for 2020 Olympic Games.
