August 27th, 2018, everything that has a beginning, has an ending. We came to the last day of the weightlifting competition, let’s see who will be the champions for today. It started with the Men +105kg Category and it is a day of Iran lifters. The heavyweight lifters, Salimikordasiabi Behdad, and Alihosseini  Saeid from Iran team respectively took the gold and silver medals in this event. Djangabaev Rustam, Uzbek lifter, won the third place. After the event finished, Mr. Mohammed Yousef Al Mana, AWF President, Mrs. Boossaba Yodbangtoey, AWF General Secretary, AWF Executive Board Members and ITOs, came along together to the Asian Games stage for taking memorable group photos.

The next one is Women +75kg Category and it is the last event for Asian Games 2018. KIM Kuk Hyang, DPR Korea, is the last champions and ended the day with Total 291kg. SON Younghee, Korea, won the silver medal and Chaidee Duangaksorn, the youngest Thai lifter, took the bronze, finally.  In this occasion, the International Weightlifting Federation and Asian Weightlifting Federation would like to thank you and be honored to give the certificate to All Indonesia Weightlifting Association for hosting the 18th Asian Games. This great competition has many good things to remember, also the lifters get more experience for the future in sports career. Although it is a time to say goodbye, but the weightlifting will never end. The friendships of Asian Weightlifting Family are forever.
