In the Second day of 2020 Olympic Games, our Asian lifters still did their great job. The first event started with Men’s 61kg and LI Fabin won another Gold for China. Not only the medal but LI also set two Olympic Records with 172kg C&J and 313kg Total. He missed to break World record in his third attempt in C&J. Moreover, IRAWAN Eko Yuli (INA) took the second – 302kg and SON Igor (KAZ) at the third with 294kg, just 2kg more than ITOKAZU Yoichi, host lifter.

The next event is Men’s 67kg. The Gold medal was still in the hand of Chinese lifter, CHEN Lijun, World record holder in Total. It was excited competition because CHEN missed two attempts in Snatch. His first lift was only 145kg, but he could back in C&J with 187kg and finished 332kg Total for both Olympic Records. This was just only more 1kg than MOSQUERA LOZANO Luis Javier (COL) who took Silver – 331kg. The third place was ZANNI Mirko (ITA) at 322kg. This all for today, see you all tomorrow!
