Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, will host the Asian Weightlifting Championships in 2024, which will serve as a qualifying event for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The announcement was made at the regular Congress of the Asian Weightlifting Federation (AWF) held at Uzbekistan. The continental championship will take place from February 3 to 10, 2024, at the “Yunusabad” sports complex in Tashkent.
