Day 1 WWC: The First Gold in Tashkent

The Great major of the year was started with Men 55kg. Great fight and fantastic opening. Asian Lifter from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Kazakhstan and Thailand got Medals!! The results are following

For Snatch Mansour Abdulrahim M AL SALEEM (KSA) won Gold with 118kg, the Silver Arli CHONTEY (KAZ) Muammer SAHIN (TUR) won the Bronze with 116kg.

In Clean&Jerk, Angel Hriskov RUSEV (BUL) lifted 144kg earned him first place in C&J. Silver went to Mohamad Aniq BIN KASDAN (MAS) with 142kg which also earned him the first place in the Commonwealth Championships.The Bronze went to Arli CHONTEY (KAZ) with 142 kg.

In Total, the Gold went to Arli CHONTEY (KAZ) with 260 kg, Silver was won by Thada SOMBOONUAN (THA) with 256kg and Angel Hriskov RUSEV (BUL) won the Bronze with 254kg.
