IWF Development Program 2018 for Weightlifting Coach Advanced Level 16th – 18th October 2018 at Western Grand Hotel, Ratchaburi, Thailand

Thai Amateur Weightlifting Association (TAWA) organized IWF Development Program 2018 for Weightlifting Coach Advanced Level during 16th – 18th October 2018 at Western Grand Hotel, Ratchaburi, Thailand. This program is supported by International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) and TAWA.

It would be honored that Maj. Gen. Intarat Yodbangtoey, IWF 1st Vice President, AWF Honorary President and TAWA Honorary President, came to be the President of the opening ceremony on 16th October 2018. Moreover, Mr. Chen Wenbin, Head Coach of Chinese Weightlifting, was welcomed to be the key lecturer in the coaching seminar, also Mr.Thassana Trairat, DCAT/ Sports Scientist (Specialist of ADAMS Systems and Doping Control Official of  Sports Authority of Thailand).

This is the great opportunity for Thai and Asian Coaches to learn and design the training program for Youth and Junior. The coaches could learn how to prevent injury in weightlifter, understand the ADAM system and whereabout register. In addition, they had a chance to exchange ideas, skills and experiences for Weightlifting developing in the future. There are 57 participants, including 37 Thai and 20 Asian coaches such as Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Laos, Cambodia, Bhutan, Vietnam and Myanmar, this will be the great benefit to all for the future of Asian Weightlifting Family.
