KUO Broke 2 World and Asian Records – Women 59kg

The first event started with the star of Chinese Taipei, KUO Hsing-Chun, who broke two World and Asian records in Snatch (110kg) and Total (247kg) for Women 59kg. KUO also lifted 137kg (C&J) for 3 Gold. LUO Xiaomin (CHN) won the Silver 227kg (102+125) and the Bronze for HOANG Thi Duyen (VIE) – 216kg (100+116).

In the Men 67kg, HUANG Minhao (CHN) reached his World record in Snatch – 155kg, but missed in C&J – 177kg, so he was at the second place in Total – 332kg. Another Chinese lifter, CHEN Lijun, did great with 180kg in C&J then finished 333kg, just 1kg for the champions. The host lifter, ERGASHEV Adkhamjon, also played well in this event for 316kg (140+176) – Bronze medal. In addition, TALIB Talha (PAK) lifted 148kg at third place in Snatch.
