The Manama 2022 – Asian Weightlifting Championship officially started today in Manama, the Kingdom of Bahrain. Bahrain Weightlifting Federation, in cooperation with the AWF, held the grand opening at Crown Plaza Hotel, Manama with Honorary Guests from Bahrain and IWF.
Mr. Mohamed Jalood, IWF President, together with Mr. Mohamed Yousef Al Mana, delivered welcome speech for Honorary Guests and all Executive Board Members. They hoped our Asian lifters will gain more experiences and develop themselves to be better for the coming competitions, especially Paris 2024 Qualification Events. More than 400 participants are ready for tomorrow competition and can’t wait to see!!
