April 26th, fortunately, the weather was good than even in Ningbo, so it was a good chance to watch cool games at Ningbo Youngor Gymnasium. We came to the highlight of the day in Women’s 76kg bodyweight category while RIM Jong Sim (PRK) announced her glory when she broke new records in Snatch and Total. RIM, the Rio 2016 winner, set the New World and Asian Record in Snatch (123kg) and two times in Total with 275kg and 278kg. Unsurprising, the DPR Korean lifters also in the first for Clean & Jerk left 155kg. The host lifter, ZHANG Wangji, tried to beat her for the gold medal; however, she could not make it in second and last attempt and finished at 146kg. Furthermore, ZHANG won three silver medals in Snatch (118kg), Clean & Jerk (146kg) and Total (284kg), and the bronze belonged to KIM Suhyeon (KOR) who lifted    107kg, 137kg and 244kg respectively.

Next is the competition of our big men in Men’s 102kg bodyweight category. In Snatch, it was a neck to neck fight of three lifters from Iran, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan because it was different only 1kg in each lift. BAIRALVAND Reza (IRI) who missed in the first attempt, but never gave up. He continued to lift and succeed for gold medal with 173kg. USAROV Sunnatilla (UZB) tried his best and he finished in the second (172kg), less only 1kg, and RASULBEKOV Bekdoolot (KGZ) followed by 1kg for the third place (171kg). In Clean & Jerk, we have to watch closely because it was a battle of Iranian lifters between BAIRALVAND Reza and HOGHOUGHIOSGOUEI Amir. In the last, BAIRALVAND took the first with 216kg while  HOGHOUGHIOSGOUEI, less only 1kg, stayed in the second. PARDEEP Singh (IND) did great job when he surprised attendances with 201kg for third. As a result, congratulation to Iran team in Total when BAIRALVAND Reza (IRI), 389kg and HOGHOUGHIOSGOUEI Amir (IRI) – 384kg take gold and silver medals. The third has been changed to three person in this event, and this total is for USAROV Sunnatilla (UZB), 363kg. That was all for today and cannot wait for tomorrow.
