Second Day of Competition

The Second day was started with Women 45kg category and DALABEHERA Jhilli (IND) did her great job with 88kg in C&J and won 3 Gold – 157kg (69 + 88). Another lifter is DIAZ Mary Flor (PHI) was the second – 135kg (60 + 75). The next event was Men 55kg and it was a time for Kazakhstan team when their two lifters won Gold and Silver medals. CHONTEY Arli lifted 255kg (115 + 140) and AUYELKHANOV Ablay for 244kg (108+136). The third place was belonged to YODAGE Dilanka Isuru Kumara (SRI) who did good job in C&J at 137kg and 241 in Totals.

For Women 55kg, both Chinese lifters competed for the Gold. LI Yajun, Snatch World record holder, won 101kg in Snatch left her teammate, LIAO Qiuyun, for the third at 98kg. The host lifter also did good – 99kg, however she missed C&J – 114kg and went to the third place 213kg – Totals. In C&J, LIAO won Gold with 124kg and finished 222kg – Totals, followed by LI at 120kg and 221kg – Totals. Just 1kg different.

The last event and the last champion was LI Fabin (CHN) who lifted 312kg (142 + 170) in Men 61kg bodyweight category. Unfortunately, he could not break the World record in the second and last attempt. ALSALEEM Seraj Abdulrahim M (KSA) lifted 286kg (125 + 161), only 1kg more than ITOKAZU Yoichi (JPN) – 285kg (130 + 155). Thank you and hope to see everyone tomorrow.
